Description

Robert Half is partnering with a York area company to hire for a Staff Accountant. You might be a good fit for this Staff Accountant position if you can prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation.

Your responsibilities as the Staff Accountant will include:

• Conduct month end close and compose journal entries

• Assist with Accounts Payable as needed

• Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls. Also ensure that accounting procedures comply with GAAP

• Reconcile corporate bank accounts in a timely manner and prepare associated journal entries.

• Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses when required.

• Prepare documentation for external auditors.

• Provide budgeting and forecasting support.

• Prepare financial analysis, as needed.

• Maintain fixed asset database.

  Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• 2+ years’ experience in a relevant accounting role

• Proficiency in Excel
