Our printing client is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to join their team. As a Shipping Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient shipment of orders, monitoring the packaging, and labeling of completed orders. The ideal candidate will have computer skills, results driven and time management which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Shipping Coordinator

Location: York, PA

Pay Range: $19 an hour

Hours: 7 am-430pm

What’s the Job?

• Scheduling common carriers for pickup and routing of deliveries.

• Physical loading and unloading of trucks Storage, labeling, and distribution of all incoming materials.

• Preparing products for shipment / skidding.

• Packaging of smaller items for UPS and/or Federal Express

• Daily forklift inspection

• Verifying counts and descriptions of incoming shipments match packing slips.

• Examine shipment contents and compare with records.

• Rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.

• Deliver or route materials to departments using hand truck.

• Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders.

What’s Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent, required.

• 3-5 years prior experience in similar position

• Knowledge and use of Process Shipper, EFI Pace, Shipping Software, OCR Software, Label Software, Fed Ex, UPS, and other third-party vendor systems and processes.

• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, TEAMS, Outlook.

• Knowledge of shipping procedures and best practices.

• Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds.
