About The OpportunityThe person in this position shall have the primary function to transfer bulk paper rolls between buildings. As a secondary operation, operate the shuttle and transfer materials between Menasha York sites. This person must hold a Class A license required to operate any combination of vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating of or gross weight of 80,000 pounds, provided the gross vehicle weight rating of the vehicle or vehicles being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds. When in between locations, forklift duties will be assigned to include performing dock and warehousing activities as well as light shipping duties 1. Drive truck to designated destinations, applying knowledge of area roads, commercial driving regulations, and skill in maneuvering vehicle in difficult situations such as narrow passageways 2. Maintain telephone contact with Dispatcher to receive delivery instructions 3. Inspect truck equipment daily each shift as required by the DOT. A daily log confirming that all checklist items are in satisfactory condition otherwise noting defect that need addressed to the Logistics Manager. 4.Maintain driver log according to state and federal regulations 5. Position wheel chocks to secure truck during unloading 6. Perform dock and warehousing activities as well as light shipping duties (banding , wrapping, forklift operation) 7.May assist workers in loading and unloading truck on a forklift 8. Move raw materials, components, finished goods, etc. to their assigned locations - Load all inbound and outbound freight as needed - Stock and issue materials or merchandise as needed 9. Ensure that material movements are consistent with current procedures regarding proper identification, fit, form, and function and suitability for storage/shipment 10. Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors
*Pay starts at 23 dollars an hour. This is a second shift position with a 2 dollar differential
