Job Description
Vanderheyden is seeking a Job Coach to provide support to individuals in various job sites, both on and off Vanderheyden's main campus. The Job Coach will work directly with the Workplace Coordinator and Transition Coordinator to assist in organizing and procuring job sites. The Job Coach assures the safety of working individuals at all times, provides transportation to and from job sites using Vanderheyden vehicles, and supports all aspects of student jobs, including but not limited to modeling activities, student supervision, appropriate job dress/appearance & hygiene, appropriate job personal interactions, and punctuality & attendance.
Requirements
Required Education, Knowledge, and Skills :
High school diploma/equivalency required
Valid NYS driver's license with a history of safe driving required
Experience supporting individuals with disabilities preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills
