Northrop Grumman Principal Financial Analyst in Woodland Hills, California

We are looking for you to join our team as a Principal Financial Analyst to support the Navigation and Cockpit Systems Business Unit out of Woodland Hills, CA . This position may be staffed as a hybrid role from the Woodland Hills, CA area. This position offers the 9/80 schedule.

What You'll Get to Do :

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for their indirect budgets as well as unit cost reporting and analysis for the Scalable Space Inertial Reference Unit (SSIRU) product line. The Financial Analyst will be deeply engaged with the Woodland Hills Director of Manufacturing, Operations and Manufacturing Managers, and SSIRU Programs PMO team. Indirect budget management responsibilities include weekly and monthly base/pool reporting, analysis, and forecasting as well as participating in the Mission Systems Sector's annual Forward Pricing Rate Proposal process. SSIRU unit cost reporting and analysis responsibilities include:

  • weekly reporting and analysis,

  • collaborating with the Woodland Hills Manufacturing organization to develop monthly touch labor forecasts,

  • and providing ad hoc analysis and support to the SSIRU PMO team.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field with 6 years of related experience, or Master's Degree as described with 4 years of related professional experience

  • Will consider 10 years of applied experience in lieu of degree requirement.

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Experience with SAP

  • US Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Cognos Planning, Tableau, and advanced Excel

  • Experience with BI OLAP

  • Ability to interface with multiple disciplines and varying levels of management

  • Strong understanding of government accounting

Salary Range: $88,700 - $133,100

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
