Description

Robert Half Legal seeks a highly-skilled and experienced Real Estate Paralegal for a permanent opportunity. In this role, you will support a wide variety of commercial real estate transactions and developments. The successful candidate will be expected to be familiar with all legal matters associated with buying, selling, and leasing residential or commercial properties. This includes drafting and reviewing contracts, and ensuring that all transactions comply with local, state, and federal laws. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of experience within a lending, law firm, or other related real estate setting.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide support to attorneys on a variety of real estate matters including property purchase, sale and leasing transactions.

2. Prepare and review real estate documents including purchase agreements, lease contracts, deeds, and transfer documents.

3. Conduct due diligence on property acquisitions including title examinations, surveys, and zoning matters.

4. Keep informed on industry developments and updates in real estate law.

5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and provide excellent customer service.

6. Prepare and manage closing checklists

7. Follow up on post-closing activities and resolve any issues

8. Electronically file documents and manage databases

   Requirements

Preferred Requirements:

1. A minimum of 3-5 years of real estate law experience.

2. Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred

3. Proficient in real estate legal matters including commercial property deals, zoning, and property rights.

4. Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

5. An in-depth understanding of laws and legal principles related to real estate.

6. Ability to maintain confidentiality and prioritize tasks.
