Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an IT Auditor in Woodbridge, New Jersey. This role primarily involves enhancing IT governance, risk management, and compliance processes, conducting audits, and providing strategic recommendations. The IT Auditor will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, focusing on the assessment of IT controls and overall security posture.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teams to understand their business objectives and IT environment.

• Develop tailored audit plans and methodologies based on needs and industry standards.

• Identify and evaluate IT risks and vulnerabilities impacting operations.

• Assess the effectiveness of existing controls in mitigating identified risks.

• Conduct comprehensive audits of IT systems, processes, and controls.

• Perform testing and analysis of IT controls, with a focus on areas such as access management, data protection, and cybersecurity.

• Utilize industry-leading tools and methodologies to gather evidence and identify findings.

• Document audit findings, observations, and recommendations in concise reports.

• Present audit results to stakeholders, highlighting key issues and proposed remediation actions.

• Provide strategic advice and guidance on improving IT governance and security posture. Requirements • Proficient in IT Audit

• Knowledge in Audit - Information Systems

• Ability to interpret and manage Audit Findings

• Experience in handling Audit Workpapers

• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification is preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with other teams

• Detail-oriented with high standards for accuracy and precision

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality

• Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload
