Schedule: Monday – Friday 7 am – 3:30pm although we are looking for some who is flexible to possibly work after hours or weekends as necessary.

The role you’ll contribute:

Applies paints, stains, and other surface treatments to structural surfaces and property. Prepares surfaces by washing, scraping, sanding, torching and/or smoothing prior to applying finishing materials. Provides on the job skills training.

Assists other trades as needed.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Replace sheetrock, tape and float, paint all interior and exterior surfaces, and do minor carpenter work

• Applies protective and decorative coats of paint, varnish, lacquer and related materials to interior and exterior surfaces

of buildings, furniture, equipment and other property

• Maintains existing paint surfaces by matching/tinting appropriate paint products

• Properly stores, cleans and disposes of all supplies and equipment used per departmental policies and procedures

• May assist in operation and general maintenance of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, locksmith, and alarm systems. Assist

in essential repairs and other duties as carried out

• Troubleshoots, tests, and repairs mechanical machinery, equipment, systems, and physical structures as scheduled or

needed under limited guidance

• Responds to in-house Work Orders and PM's on daily basis, and in a timely manner

• May be required to respond to emergency calls

• May be required to take call in accordance with facility in a timely manner

• Provides on the job skills training

• Supports and contributes to the development of new processes, products, or services

• Maintains complete and accurate records of all maintenance and repairs. Maintains record ensuring compliance with

TJC, Federal, State and Local regulations and standards. Responsible for keeping current on maintenance logs

• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

-High School Diploma or GED

-FL Driver’s License

-2 years of painting experience.
