ROLE SUMMARY
What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?
The Senior Manager Trade Systems / Delivery role is responsible for completing and implementing large projects that support Trade Marketing in driving our commercial business. In this role, the Senior Manager will champion the development and implementation of multiple application projects through proper planning and sound project management principles as they represent the business. The expectation is to work cross functionally with multiple collaborators to deliver enhancements or new technologies. The role will also coordinate organisational change plans that must be developed and driven to support user adoption of the functionality.
As part of the Trade Marketing team, the Senior Manager is responsible for leading, coaching, reviewing, and delegating work not only within the team, but cross functionally as well. Critical thinking and the ability to provide strategic direction to the internal teams as well as vendor partners is also an integral component of this role. This role will require leadership, collaboration, and coaching across the entire Trade Systems team to deliver new applications to enable field Trade Marketing to implement with excellence and speed.
As a champion of field Trade Marketing, the Senior Manager will help challenge the status quo and will constantly look for improvements in applications that will assist building commercial value.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
Leads prioritization of development and implementation with internal functions to drive the Technology Roadmaps
Responsible for handling multiple projects including but not limited to Salesforce, Apex, and engageVIP.
Owns project update meetings which include scheduling, leading, and communicating.
Proactively engages collaborators, consistently outlining projects, status, risks, and dependencies to provide timely updates.
Implements effective change management plans that are tied to project results.
Authors end user communications for all project releases.
Completes business requirements for change requests, collaborates internally to prioritize change requests, approves User Acceptance Testing, and writes communications for all releases deployed into production.
Primary point of contact between DBS and vendor partners regarding new system enhancements and in-flight Trade Marketing Technology Roadmap projects.
Leads and coaches across a cross-functional team to deliver on system upgrades, system changes, and technological advances for Trade Marketing.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
ESSENTIAL
Experience
Proven experience in a fast-paced consumer goods industry.
Leading cross functional meetings.
Robust project management (PMO) experience.
Organisational change principles.
Demonstrated record of leading, coaching, and developing others.
Strong competence to identify, evaluate, implement new technology to support business growth.
Establishing, building, and fostering relationships cross-functionally.
Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required
High competence in project and collaborator management.
Experience using insourced and outsourced IT service providers.
Strong eye for business.
Data and insights driven.
Ability to build trusted partnerships.
Effective influencing,negotiation,problem-solving,and selling skills.
Strong oral, written, and listening skillsdelivered in a manner appropriate to the needs of the audience.

Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree required.
BENEFICIAL
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Financial acumen.
Experience motivating a team to create a dynamic, empowered, and fun working environment.
Proven track record of leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage resources.
Previous interaction with marketing, sales, and business to business teams.
