Data Entry Specialist - Part Time Weekend Only Schedule Winston Salem, NC 27102

JOB SUMMARY:

The Part Time Data Entry Specialist is responsible for entering billing information and submitting job quote increase requests in customer portals, submitting service and inspection reports to customers, triaging emergency customer requests, and creating workorders and bookings in the field service scheduling software.

Work Schedule: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM Saturday and Sunday. Ability to train during the week is preferred but not required.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Enter billing information ensuring accurate recording of labor, miscellaneous fees, parts and materials used in compliance with established billing practices.

  • Access all workorders that are pending invoicing daily to enter billing information into customer portal.

  • Submit quotes in the customer portal to increase the Not To Exceed amount for over limit invoices.

  • Pull reports from customer portal daily and enter billing information for approved quotes.

  • Submit Inspection or Service reports to the site manager where service was performed and upload into customer portal.

  • Create reports for department metrics

  • Create work orders, ensuring the success of our service techs by entering all pertinent details.

  • Provide telephone support for emergency work order requests from customers or work order inquiries from service technicians (<10 calls/day average)

  • Manage On-Call tech schedules in the after hours call system and send weekly calendar reminders to the on-call tech in each area

  • Provide timely updates to customers on the status of the work order via notes in the customer portals

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Administration Manager

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • One to two (1-2) years of data entry experience or Associates degree or higher

  • Equivalent military experience in lieu of associate’s degree

    MEASUREMENTS OF SUCCESS:

  • Accuracy of information entered in customer portals

  • Feedback from Internal and External customers

  • The efficiency with which workorders are moved through all invoicing steps and any issues preventing invoicing are resolved.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the wage range for this role is 17.00-19.00/hr. The salary range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Adaptec Solutions considers factors including, but not limited to experience and geographic location.
