Job Description

The Café Production Support Associate will assist the manager with food/meal preparation and maintaining inventory supplies in self-service markets throughout the location while maintaining high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices. This person will also assist the manager and other café personnel in the café with other duties as needed to maintain the highest levels of guest satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

• Follow established procedures and standards for cleanliness and organization in accordance with the Health Department and Aramark standards, to ensure a balanced and safe environment.

• Adhere to all food safety regulations for sanitation, food handling, temperature, and storage.

• Scrub and polish counters, clean and sanitize steam tables, and other equipment according to scheduling requirements, deep cleaning as directed.

• Maintain garbage collection site and café floor areas, safeguarding cleanliness and sanitation.

• Manage inventory levels in satellite self service areas within plant location.

• Timely preparation of quality food and baked goods according to predetermined recipes.

• Serve food according to meal schedules, department policies and procedures while upholding guest satisfaction and plate presentation.

• Use and care of kitchen equipment, utilizing required PPE as required.

• Work closely with the Manager daily to guarantee service levels are met.

• Perform other duties as assigned including aiding other areas and associates within the café.

• Adhere to the Aramark uniform policy and all other Aramark policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook, Site Specific Location Guides, and Supplemental Policies.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

? Food Service Certificate as needed

? Sufficient education or training to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions

? Be able to work quickly and concisely under pressure
