Description:
Perform hydrostatic and air tests in accordance with Velan internal procedures and drawings on manual operated stop valves and swing check valves. Perform final verification of completed components or valves in accordance with checklists, dimensional verifications as needed, generate rejection reports on unacceptable product form. Provide assistance to customer inspectors as required. Perform other tasks as designated by supervisor.
Requirements:
Able to successfully complete the appropriate training and examinations required by Velan internal documents such as VEL-NDT-571. Knowledge of Velan product, mechanically inclined and able to comprehend, and interpret technical documents and drawings. High school education minimum, basic shop math.
Ability to write reports and maintain logs in a neat and orderly fashion. Must be able to pass appropriate vision test.
