PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborating with IT and business leaders to create and manage IT Capital and Operation and Maintenance budgets. This involves forecasting expenses, allocating funds to different projects and ensuring financial resources are aligned with organizational goals. Analyzing financial data related to IT expenditures. This includes tracking actual spending against budgeted amounts, identifying variances, and providing insights into the financial performance of IT initiatives. Predicting future financial needs based upon upcoming IT projects, initiatives, and business requirements. This helps IT leaders plan for resource allocation and budget adjustments. Assisting in the evaluation of new accounting practices for IT expenses. Identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within the IT department. This may involve analyzing vendor contracts, evaluating alternative solutions and proposing cost effective strategies. Tracking IT software licensing including managing contract lifecycles. Assist in negotiating contracts and pricing with IT vendors, bringing in the IT leader when appropriate. Tracking and reconciling various IT invoices, including those associated with the company's telecommunication service providers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in general business, Finance, Accounting Management Information Systems or related field. 4+ years experience in field. High level of initiative and professionalism with strong interpersonal/communication and negotiation skills. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with moderate-to-strong technical competencies. Ability to work independently within a quickly changing environment. Effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely. Well organized and self-motivated with strong customer service, technical, project and analytical skills. Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
