We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant for a promising position with a salary range of $60,000 - $65,000, depending on experience. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a respected organization that prioritizes work-life balance and provides top-notch benefits.

The successful Staff Accountant will manage and perform an array of accounting and financial processes under the guidance of the Chief Financial Officer. This role is pivotal in maintaining accurate financial records, processing payments, and contributing to both the month-end and year-end closing processes. It offers substantial exposure within the Accounting department and the chance for significant hands-on involvement across various company operations. This is an in-person, onsite role in the WNY area.

Responsibilities: * Review invoices for accuracy and completeness prior to payment, ensuring proper documentation. * Process accounts payable checks, wire transfers, and ACH payments accurately and on time. * Manage vendor communications, resolving inquiries and discrepancies promptly. * Maintain and reconcile petty cash, ensuring accuracy across all practice locations. * Support monthly financial reporting by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and assisting with audits as needed. * Assist in the preparation of supporting documentation for audits, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

Qualifications: * Associate degree in accounting or finance or, 3+ years work experience in accounting. * Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong Excel skills. * Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professional conduct. * Superb time management skills and strong attention to detail.
