This growing Transport company is seeking an Accounts Receivable (A/R) professional to join their dynamic team. This role's duties will require entering, posting and reconciling batches, researching and resolving customer Accounts Receivable issues, preparing aging reports, placing billing and collection calls, maintaining cash receipts journal, and updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L. • Maintain, relate, and promote the mission, values and culture of the organization

• Supply shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stake holders with information as requested

• Follow standard procedures to perform basic accounting tasks, such as general accounting

• Process payments and assemble segments of monthly closings and annual reports in compliance with GAAP

• Ensure accuracy of documents and codes

• Communicate with clients to settle payment issues and help create a payment plan

• Post and balance financial data in various ledgers to reconcile bank accounts

  Requirements

• Accounting Degree Required

• Cash applications experience preferred

• Experience with Collections

• Command of Accounts receivables systems

• Adeptness in account reconciliation

• Accounts Receivable (AR) experience desired

• SAP experience

• AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field

• Experience with ERP systems

• Relevant experience in accounts receivable

• Excellent attention to detail
