Robert Half Accounts Payable Manager in Whites Creek, Tennessee

Description We are in search of a meticulous and strategic Senior Accounts Payable Manager to manage the complexities of our financial records and processes. This role is based in Whites Creek, Tennessee, and falls within the financial services industry. As a Senior Accounts Payable Manager, you will be responsible for managing extensive account processes, developing systems, procedures, and policies, and leading a team of accounts payable personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, and policies to ensure adherence to guidelines

• Manage monthly closing of financial records and oversee the accounts payable personnel

• Handle a broad range of financial information, including the management of multiple bank accounts

• Deal with complex accounts payable procedures and ensure all accounts are up to date at all times

• Prepare analysis and reports of accounts payable details for department heads and senior management

• Resolve complex accounts payable issues and coordinate with other departments for consistency in procedures and payments

• Lead and support the accounts payable team members, fostering an atmosphere of teamwork and continuous improvement

• Act as a liaison between the company, government, and external accountants to meet information needs and maintain historical information

• Utilize accounting software systems, ADP - Financial Services, Concur, Data Processing, ERP Solutions for efficient functioning

• Handle accounting functions, accounts payable, check processing, discrepancy resolution, and expense reporting Requirements • Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager for a minimum of 10 years

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Experience with Concur software

• Strong skills in Data Processing

• Knowledge of ERP Solutions

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions

• Ability to handle Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in Check Processing

• Ability to resolve Discrepancy issues

• Experience in Expense Reporting

• Strong organizational and leadership skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
