Quality Technician\ Our client is now hiring a Quality Technician on a full-time, interim basis! Youll join the team at the companys White River Junction, VT facility for approximately four months.\ Responsibilities of the Quality Technician
- Perform precise measurements using a variety of hand gages, including drop gages, micrometers, calipers, and other specialized tools
- Inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure compliance with established standards and customer requirements
- Record measurement data and complete quality documentation
- Identify and report any non-conformances, deviations, or defects
- Collaborate with the quality team and production to address and resolve quality issues
- Maintain and calibrate measurement tools and equipment as needed
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Qualifications of the Quality Technician
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Quality Technician, Inspector, or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Familiarity with quality standards (e.g., ISO, AS9100) and experience in filling out quality documentation
- Team player with good communication skills
- Basic computer skills
