Job Description
Reporting to the Director, Residences, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
Manage day to day activities and perform ongoing maintenance, repair and preventative maintenance ensuring standards are met
Inspect and maintain facilities, grounds, infrastructure and equipment
Maintain all buildings, performing carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, masonry and other related maintenance
Manage preventative maintenance program for residences, public areas and safety systems
Supervise maintenance contractors on site
Maintain complete and accurate records
Implement all safety programs, fire safety plan, building evacuation plan, disaster recovery plan, etc.
Monitor energy and water management programs providing input and recording results
Direct mechanical snow removal contractors and perform manual snow removal to ensure parking lots, driveways and walkways are kept safe and clear of snow
Oversee pool and spa maintenance, ensuring that they meet maintenance and safety requirements
Conduct home and shop inventories to manage inventory to requirements. Procure and maintain inventory required according to purchasing policies
Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards
Follow all safety polices
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Maintenance Technician experience
Highly responsible and reliable
Experience with carpentry, masonry, painting, plumbing, electrical wiring and other related experience
Experience maintaining pool and spa
BC drivers license in good standing
Computer proficiency in Microsoft programs
Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimal supervision
Available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
