Banquets Manager
Exceptional service and flavours are the hallmarks of every dining experience. We invite you to develop your leadership strengths as Banquets Manager and let your passion for guest service drive consistent guest satisfaction, an engaged team and outstanding operating results for the largest events space in Whistler.
Location: Fairmont Chateau Whistler (On-site)
Salary Range:
$66,000 - $73,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Job Duties Include:
Leading your departmental colleagues to provide excellent banquets & events to guests
Ensure food & beverage brand standards are maintained
Have full knowledge of all restaurant and bar menus
Create unforgettable experiences for our guests
Handle guest concerns and react quickly and professionally
Assist in achieving financial targets through maximizing revenue and managing expenses and productivity
Assist in performance management of all restaurant colleagues through constant communication, training, development and follow up
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
Two years’ leadership experience in food & beverage
Strong events/banquets experience
Thorough working knowledge of wines, liqueurs and other beverages. Sommelier designation is preferred.
