Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Westminster, Colorado

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst in the financial industry, located in WESTMINSTER, Colorado, 80021-2702, United States. This role involves assisting in regulatory examinations and internal audits, conducting periodic compliance reviews, preparing documentation of internal procedures, maintaining the company website as an information source for compliance, preparing compliance manuals and programs, developing compliance training modules, and performing due diligence visits and risk assessments.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in regulatory examinations and internal audits across the organization

• Conduct periodic compliance reviews of departments, ensuring that procedures and guidelines are being met

• Prepare documentation of internal procedures utilizing state and federal rules, regulations, and other third-party compliance resources

• Maintain the company website as an information source for compliance

• Prepare compliance manuals and programs

• Assist in developing compliance training modules and training of compliance team members

• Perform due diligence visits and risk assessments

• Utilize skills in SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley and SEC Reporting to ensure effective financial analysis and reporting. Requirements • Proven experience as a Sr. Financial Analyst, preferably with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role

• Proficient knowledge of SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley compliance

• Experience in SEC Reporting is essential for the role

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with advanced Excel skills

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial data to non-financial audiences

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses

• High level of integrity and dependability with strong sense of urgency and results-orientation

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; MBA or relevant professional certification (CFA, CPA) will be considered a plus.
