Description

Robert Half Marketing and Creative is hiring for a dynamic Software Engineer who will play a crucial role in developing advanced positioning, control, and automation products for heavy equipment in the construction and mining sectors. Utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as GNSS, optical total stations, lasers, and sonics, our solutions enhance machine operation with precise guidance systems, elevating efficiency and effectiveness in the field.

Role Overview:

As a vital member of our delivery team, you'll contribute to the creation of cross-platform, system features designed to optimize the productivity of equipment owners, operators, and technicians. Your work will involve developing high-quality, customer-centric software solutions within a globally evolving development framework, focusing on cloud-based services and applications that may seamlessly integrate with on-premise solutions.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud-based services and solutions that interact with our field products, manage telematics data, and offer user-friendly interfaces for data interaction.

  • Develop solutions for over-the-air licensing and ensure adherence to the highest standards of security, privacy, and data protection.

  • Engage in collaborative requirement setting with the product development team for cloud solutions.

  • Oversee the monitoring and troubleshooting of deployed services.

  • Participate in the development of security and privacy protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, with a preference for experience in NodeJS.

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in cloud or web development.

  • Solid understanding of database concepts, HTTP, and cloud infrastructure.

  • Experience with CI/CD practices, DevOps/SRE culture, and using GitHub.

  • Familiarity with AWS services, and certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner are advantageous.

  • A knack for problem-solving, coupled with effective communication skills suitable for a global team environment.
