Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Our staff is currently searching for an experienced maintenance technician for a 2nd shift opening. We are a leading Tier One automotive supplier to domestic and offshore OEMs. We offer a wide range of highly engineered plastic injection-molded components, available in various sizes, shapes, and designs, supplying both functional and decorative parts to clients such as Ford, GM, Tesla, and Rivian.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance of 12 Injection Mold Machines, including Husky and Cincinnati models. Hydraulics, pneumatics, and 480V maintenance is often. Robotics and PLC experience is a plus but not needed to be hired.

$28-$33/hour

2nd Shift: 3:00 pm-11:00 pm - 1 opening - $1 shift premium

Hard Skills

• Injection Mold Maintenance Experience (2 yrs of experience)

• Electrical Maintenance Experience (up to 480v)

• Mechanical Maintenance Experience

• Hydraulics and Pneumatics Experience

This is a DIRECT HIRE fully on-site role in Westland, Michigan.

Work Environment

We recently completed a 99,000 sq ft addition to our current plant because we won the Ford Bronco program. While we currently do Compression Molding, with the Ford Bronco program we will be doing Injection Molding, necessitating the addition. The facility is well-lit but can get hot due to the machines on the compression molding side having ovens. The current team consists of 1 Maintenance Manager and 4 maintenance techs on each shift, with a total of 400 employees at this location.
