U.S. Military Academy Waiter (Banquets) NA-01 in West Point, New York

Summary This position is located at Eisenhower Hall. This position is Weather Essential. Responsibilities Performs routine duties of servicing banquets either by providing for set menu banquets or taking individual orders. Involved in setting up and breaking down banquet settings and replenishing beverages. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications No prior training or work experience required. Applicants must be able to follow simple oral and/or written instructions. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Ability to follow simple oral and written instruction and an understanding of sanitary food and beverage handling techniques and an understanding of food preparation methods of food items. Your qualifications will be evaluated on the following competencies: knowledge, skills, abilities, additional screening criteria and other characteristics. FWS Allowances and Differentials This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position. All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
