Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to oversee the operations of our AV (Audio/Visual) Home Entertainment Systems service team. In this role, you will lead a skilled group of technicians, ensuring top-notch customer service and efficient project execution. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in AV systems, extensive experience in team management, and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations. Required Qualifications:

  • Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years in AV installation, service, or a related technical field.

  • Proven track record of managing a team, preferably within the AV, electronics, or home entertainment industry.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Deep understanding of AV systems, home theater setups, and integration technologies.

  • Familiarity with control systems (e.g., Crestron, Savant, Control4) is a plus.

  • Leadership Skills:

  • Excellent leadership and team-building abilities, with strong interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve company objectives and deliver exceptional service.

  • Problem-Solving Skills:

  • strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex AV issues.

  • Communication:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical details clearly to clients and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Development:

  • Manage, train, and mentor a team of AV technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and implement training initiatives to enhance team skills.

  • Service Operations Oversight:

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring all service and installation projects are completed efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Coordinate schedules, manage resources, and allocate team members based on project requirements and priorities.

  • Customer Service Excellence:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated customer service issues, working proactively to resolve any technical or service concerns.

  • Monitor and improve customer satisfaction by implementing feedback mechanisms and quality assurance practices.

  • Technical Expertise & Problem Solving:

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest AV technology trends and system integrations to guide your team in delivering innovative, high-quality solutions.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex AV issues, providing support to the team as needed.

  • Project & Budget Management:

  • Oversee project timelines and budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high service standards.

  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Sales, Operations) to streamline processes and achieve business objectives.
