Description

We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and efficient Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will primarily be entrusted with installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of low voltage systems including security and alarm systems, networking systems, and telecommunication systems.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain low voltage systems including data networking and phone systems, video surveillance systems, home theaters and audio systems, and other low voltage electronic systems.

• Read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to assign layouts for system installations.

• Collaborate with the design team to ensure systems are appropriately placed for maximum efficiency and safety.

• Identify potential issues and troubleshoot systems to rectify problems.

• Adhere to code regulations and maintain knowledge of current trends and advancements in the industry.

• Educate clients on how to use installed systems, also providing advice on regular maintenance routines.

• Perform routine inspections to ensure system efficiency and safety is up to par.

• Attend training seminars and workshops to stay updated on new products and systems.

• Provide exceptional customer service, answering queries, and resolving problems accurately and rapidly.

• Collaborate with team members and contribute to achieving team goals.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• 5+ years' experience as a home solutions programmer

• Proficient in Programming (Control 4, Lutron, Network Systems, Universal Remotes, Sonos, etc.)

• Strong service and troubleshooting background

• Proficient/Understanding in VPN, VLANS, DVRS, NVRS, Receivers, and End user devices

• Proficient in reading and redlining blueprints

• Able to build Lighting schedules

• Proficient in equipment rack building

• Proficient with most hand and power tools

• Must have a track record that is followed up on and confirmed true
