RBK Fire Systems Inc Designer/Project Manager in West Palm Beach, Florida
[JOB TITLE: Designer/Project Manager
[DEPARTMENT: Design/Engineer
[JOB SUMMARY: To manage the overall coordination and installation requirements of assigned projects within the project scope and estimates.
[REPORTS TO:Construction Manager
[RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY]{new="" roman="" times=""}]{new="" roman="" times=""}]{new="" roman="" times=""}]{new="" roman="" times=""}]{new="" roman="" times=""}
- To survey, design and perform flow test (if required)
- To be knowledgeable of the project specification and installation requirements
- To coordinate the installation efforts in accordance with the project scope of work
- To consistently track project revision or RFI's
- To prepare full permit package and courier them to the city
- To stock list and field verify the installation
- To coordinate with fabricator for quote and delivery date
- To attend bid walk through and assist bid process
- To schedule inspection of projects and walk through
- To attend project related meetings
- To comply with all Company policies and procedures
- To ensure that project complies with all quality and safety requirement
- To insure a clean and organized work environment
- To assure all necessary documentation are on site and properly completed
- To assist in the field (installation)
- To prepare close out documents
- To visit existing buildings for inspection / service sales
- All other duties assigned.
[QUALIFICATIONS:]{new="" roman="" times=""}
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- (3) Years experience of designing Fire Sprinkler Systems or NICET Level III
- Organization and communication skills
- Having knowledge of automatic fire sprinkler systems and code requirements
