YOUR ROLE

  • Perform electrical installations as per NEC.

  • Perform troubleshooting and electrical repairs to all process, packaging, utility, and building equipment as necessary with minimal down time.

  • Perform electrical functions including, but not limited to, disassembly, cleaning, assembly and troubleshooting operations of any electrical equipment such as panels, switch gears, motors, VFD’s, controllers, PLC’s, instrumentation etc.

  • Perform electrical preventative maintenance on all equipment as required.

  • Give technical electrical support to all process and/or packaging line operators and mechanics concerning controls and electrical functionality of the equipment.

  • Ensure all electrical safeguards of plant equipment are installed as required to conform to all regulations, company, state and federal.

  • Collaborate with others within the department to continuously improve and learn; utilizes equipment manuals and reading to improve effectiveness with unfamiliar equipment.

  • May transport parts, material and equipment to other facilities utilized by the company and pickup or deliver parts.

  • Participate in time-based maintenance, not limited to electrical.

YOUR SKILLS

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Associate Degree in Automated Systems, Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance or other related field or 3 years’ previous work experience required.

  • Basic knowledge of the following: Computer PLCs and DCS, Power Distribution, Motor & Drives, Digital & Analog Electronics, Schematics & Electrical Print Reading, Process Control, Test Instruments and AC/DC Theory.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to work with team and be self-guided.

  • Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner which enables the employee to get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management.

  • Excellent leadership and planning ability.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions.

  • Troubleshooting ability.

  • Excellent common sense and the ability to train on the job.

  • Knowledge of proper use of test equipment and tools, including, but not limited to, the following: Multimeters, amp meters, knockout punch, drill, pipe bender (manual and power)

The salary for this role is $29.13 - $34.17. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
