PeopleReady Skilled Trades is looking for Licensed Plumbers for our client in New Haven. We would love to hire you for this full-time position TODAY!

Please note the pay rate for this role is $43 p/hr

Responsibilities:

• Perform mostly copper work
• Cutting, threading, or hammering pipes using various power and hand tools
• Measuring and marking pipes for cutting or threading
• Cutting or boring holes in structures
• Drawing layouts to scale while studying blueprints and following relevant codes
• Troubleshooting problems
• Inspecting, examining, or testing installed systems or pipelines

Qualifications:

• Be at least 18 years of age and able to provide work authorization documents
• Must be local to New Haven area
• Current/Active Valid Connecticut P1 Licensed or P2 Licensed
• OSHA certification issued in the last 5 years Certification or a willingness to obtain it
• Maintain active CT Issued S1 or S2 License
• Minimum 2 years experience in commercial construction industry preferred
• Tools of the trade and the ability to bring them to jobsites
• References to verify your professional skills and experience
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Prior experience in the Commercial and Residential field preferred
• Prior experience using Basic Plumber's Toolbox Position may require a drug screen
