ESSENTIAL TASKS THE EMPLOYEE MAY PERFORM A COMBINATION OF SOME OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING DUTIES AND OTHER DUTIES WHICH MAY BE ASSIGNED.
- Perform periodic rounds of inspections to check on equipment and procedures.
- Observe and record readings from equipment Operate waste pumps.
- Operate and maintain press which separates solids from liquids.
- Clean weirs between settlement tanks and clarifiers.
- Wash primary and secondary clarifiers.
- Inspect aeration basins to monitor levels.
- Monitor flow rates throughout processing.
- Clean chlorine basin to assure disinfection of water.
- Remove residue from grease pits.
- Remove debris from filters, including inorganic materials, large pieces of trash and grit.
- Monitor chemical levels in tanks Mix polymer.
- Operate dump truck Operate front end loader.
- Operate skid loader.
- Change out chemical tanks.
- Repair facility equipment.
- Clean wastewater treatment plant building.
- Empty trash.
- Mow lawn at wastewater treatment facility.
- Operate weed eater.
- Apply weed killer at wastewater treatment plant facility.
- Remove debris and trash from wastewater treatment facility grounds and parking lot.
- Assist in maintaining security at facility.
