IQVIA Associate Director, Offering Management - MedTech in Wayne, United States

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing a new product for IQVIA MedTech while working across MedTech industry leading companies. This candidate will be the ‘eyes and ears’ in the market place and will be responsible for staying on top of industry trends, competition and areas for product development and expansion based on both general market needs and client feedback.

Associate Director of Offering Management will lead the MedTech offering team in crafting an approach to build and execute on market & product requirements inclusive of analytical measures, benchmarking and proposed workflow and product (and cross-product) functionality.

This individual is passionate about the Life Sciences space, specifically in strategic planning, budgeting and financial management and downstream execution, and has proven experience in translating customer requirements and market trends into compelling, winning solutions. This individual must also have proven experience in driving product release cycles, including working with cross-functional teams to deliver high quality solutions on time.

Essential Functions

  • Provides subject matter expertise on IQVIA global MedTech assets through partnerships with local country MedTech team leads.

  • Liaison between client and internal teams in understanding requirements and expectations of ongoing business relationship.

  • Contributes to and supports training and roll-out plan to partner companies.

  • Ensures offerings content and feature levels are competitive and sufficient to generate targeted revenue growth and market penetration.

  • Collect data requirement gathering across clients that allows data harmonization and standardization

  • Maintain data integrity across all clients

  • Run collaborative data governance sessions with all clients individually and collectively

  • Collaborate with Global Data Management team to revisit existing MTC classification while working with client’s marketing team

  • Collaboration with Data Engineering team to onboard various client data

  • Support Decision Science and Advanced Analytics team to study and implement benchmarking across markets and segments in the offering scope

  • Mediate the discussions with clients on SKU clarification and data gaps related question with IQVIA workstreams

  • Incorporates IQVIA strategic directions into offering mgmt. decisions within and across the business lines. Recognized as the spokesperson for IQVIA on their offerings internally

  • Manages cross functional teams to ensure the offerings meet customer needs, are economically executed, technically viable and are deliverable.

  • Brings external thought leadership to bear in client environment. Recognizes impact of developments in industry that may influence IQVIA products, services or trends. Forecasts trends, identifies potential impacts and applies knowledge to offering development and business line strategy.

  • Drive achievement of objectives for an increasingly larger or more complex area of business line responsibility (or multiple smaller areas) and ensures execution on plans. Proactively shapes and scopes interdependencies with other business line stakeholders and functions and to achieve business line goals.

  • Determines and executes plans for recovery, contingency and mitigation to adjust for market, corporate or other impacts. Leverages, builds and maintains IQVIA relationships that contribute to successful execution of plans. Proactively engages and manages stakeholders, leads interdependent teams and demonstrates complete ownership of the business

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Req; Master's Degree MBA or Pharmacy degree strongly desired.

  • Prior experience in MedTech and/or Cardiovascular therapies preferred.

  • Seven (7) years related experience in industry defining, leading and implementing business solutions across MedTech industry marketing and sales functions.

  • Successful track record in developing customer-centric solutions as a service provider.

  • Proven ability to translate customer requests, competitive activities, and industry trends into value drivers of new offerings and product requirements that can be easily understood by product managers, developers and other key constituencies within the organization.

  • Expertise working with customers and key stakeholders to validate requirements throughout the development cycle. Able to identify and manage across key customers, their requirements, and their business processes.

  • Strategic planning skills.

  • Experience using agile product development methodologies.

  • Proven ability to engage audiences and simplify complex messages.

  • Demonstrated success building effective relationships with a broad spectrum of global stakeholders including senior leaders, associates, and external suppliers.

  • Ability to build internal relationships with offering development, delivery, and go to market organizations.

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the Pharmaceutical/Management Consulting sector preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.

  • Strong problem solving, analytical, project management and planning skills required.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $109,900.00 - $187,200.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
