MaineGeneral Health Private Practice Family Medicine Physician in Waterville, Maine

Job Summary:

Job Description:

Waterville Family Practice is a small, privately owned, outpatient only, family practice located in Waterville, Maine. We are seeking a full time physician to join a collegial team of 5 providers (3 physicians and 2 physician assistants) providing care to patients of all ages.

We are affiliated with MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta, Maine. In addition to a competitive salary, benefits include loan repayment, paid moving expenses and a sign on bonus. After the first 2 years, salary is based on a combination of clinical hours and productivity with an opportunity to make more than the base salary based on your preferred schedule.

Some of our providers choose to do nursing home care and home visits, however, this is not required. Call is outpatient only, and about once a week and one weekend in four. We average 1-2 calls on a weekday and 4-8 calls on a weekend.

Waterville Family Practice is located in a newly renovated office in downtown Waterville, Maine. Waterville is a city in the center of Maine and is home to Colby and Thomas Colleges. There are many exciting changes happening in our downtown with a brand new hotel and restaurants within walking distance and an art center being built right across the street from our practice. Waterville is also conveniently located within an hour to 1.5 hour drive to the coast, ski mountains and Maine's largest cities of Portland and Bangor. Many outdoor activities are available within minutes of the downtown including hiking, cross country ski trails and many lakes.

As a private practice, we have the ability to run the practice as we see fit. We have a loyal and invested team who take an active role in decision making and can tailor their schedule in a way that works best for them, their family and for the practice. At Waterville Family Practice we take great pride in the exceptional care that we are able to provide our patients.
