Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Business Analys t to join our team in managing projects, developing and maintaining technical specifications, and leading Customer Acceptance Testing (CAT). This individual will ensure that functional requirements are documented, tested, and aligned with business goals. The Senior Business Analyst will also engage with industry forums and workgroups, track testing metrics, and create supporting documentation and artifacts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project management and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and project goals.

  • Develop Software Requirement Specification (SRS) documents to support functional requirements, focusing on Mail.dat and Mail.XML technical file specifications.

  • Manage and update technical specifications, guides, and other documentation in support of revised functionality across systems.

  • Support Customer Acceptance Testing (CAT), including reviewing Technical Requirement Documents (TRD), developing and updating test scripts, performing smoke and functional testing, and documenting outcomes.

  • Collaborate with the Mailer Technical Advisory Committee (MTAC) and participate in related forums and workgroups.

  • Track and report performance metrics related to CAT.

  • Develop automated test scripts and assist with performance validation.

  • Create training materials, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and guides for relevant systems.

  • Other related duties as assigned.

Required Certifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Scrum Master Certification.

Required Experience:

  • 5-7 years of experience, with a preference for those in technology or software development.

  • Strong knowledge of Mail.dat and Mail.XML specifications for electronic data exchange.

  • Business Analysis experience, with Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification preferred.

  • Familiarity with requirements management tools such as Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), VersionOne, JIRA, or Confluence.

  • Experience with software testing tools such as Unified Functional Testing (UFT) or Selenium.

  • Proficiency in database tools and experience developing analytics solutions using tools like MicroStrategy, Oracle SQL, Teradata.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft O365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access, Visio, Teams, Workflow, Power BI).

  • Experience with Technical Solution Lifecycle (TSLC) or other Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.

  • Proven track record in managing or leading IT projects using Waterfall and Agile Methodologies.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science (CS), Information Technology (IT), or a related field from an accredited college or university.

  • Note: Four (4) additional years of relevant experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree
