Job Description:

Provide analytics report weekly examining program effectiveness and adversary trends in Middle Eastern media susceptible to Iranian/Iran Threat Network influence. If events in the information environment dictate, may be called upon to provide additional analysis. Analysis incorporates finished reporting on media messaging in identified geographic AOIs. Preparation for reporting includes continuous labeling of open-source data and QC meta-tagging of multiple types of media—which include but are not limited to radio, print, web, social media--to identify trends in the target media environment. Data enrichment and collection must be scalable to incorporate evolving volume, language, and geographic priorities. Provides data driven insights to validate client hypotheses/drive decision support. Deliver data supported solutions using analytical tools and methodologies. Identify business issues and influence change through data and analytics by finding relationships between/among variables.

Responsibilities:

The Iran Regional Subject Matter Expert Analytics Practitioner will conduct operational support and assessments for program effectiveness and adversarial messaging. - The regional subject matter expert (RSME) will provide one analytics report weekly examining program effectiveness and adversary trends in Middle Eastern media environments susceptible to Iranian and Iran Threat Network influence. If events in the information environment dictate, the RSME may at times be called upon to provide additional analysis. This analysis will incorporate finished reporting on media messaging in identified geographic areas of interest. Preparation for this reporting includes continuous labeling of open-source data and quality controlled meta-tagging of multiple types of media—which shall include but are not limited to radio, print, web, and social media—to identify trends in the target media environment. Data enrichment and collection must be scalable to incorporate evolving volume, language, and geographic priorities

Here's what you need:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant open source and media analysis, Arabic media, and cultural expertise.

  • Farsi language proficiency - written and verbal.

  • Experience writing analytical reports.

  • Data analytics experience.

  • Experience with open source media analysis

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience working with USG agencies.

  • Open source media and intelligence experience.

  • Iran regional and cultural knowledge.

Clearance:

  • TS/SCI clearance required to start
