PeopleReady Skilled Trades is seeking a full-time Millwright for the installation and maintenance of mechanical lifts. Typical working hours are 7:00AM to 4:00PM Monday through Friday based on experience. The ideal candidate will be highly mechanically inclined, have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of industrial/mechanical maintenance experience, the willingness to work at heights on scaffolding, the ability to perform the physical demands of the job, and able to provide tools of the trade. Note: The pay rate for this job is $28 - $29 /hour

Responsibilities:

• Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical lifts and machinery.

• Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of system components and to select the equipment needed for installation or repair.

• Connect electrical wiring to control panels and motors.

• Troubleshoot malfunctions as needed in brakes, motors, switches, and controls.

• Work within company safety guidelines.

• Maintenance and repair will require knowledge of computerized controls, electronics, and hydraulics.

 Qualifications:

• Bilingual; English and Spanish, strongly preferred. 3 to 5 years industrial/mechanical maintenance experience.

• Maintenance knowledge of monitoring, installing, and repairing compressors, stationary equipment, hydraulics, etc.).

• Regular lifting of 50+ pounds, bending, stooping, and kneeling required.

• Candidates should be able to perform the physical demands of the job.

• Tools of the trade required: 1/2" drive standard socket set 3/8-1" with ratchet, 1/2" drive metric socket set 7-25mm, 5. 4" Straight and phillips screwdriver, 20oz.

• Ball peen hammer, Large standard Allen pack, Small standard Allen pack, Large metric Allen pack, Small metric Allen pack, 10" Adjustable wrench, 420 or 430 Channel Locks, 25' standard/metric tape measure, 8 Meter metric tape, 12" Adjustable wrench, Medium size pliers,

• Needle nose pliers, Plumb bob.
