Purpose of the role

BAO Systems is seeking passionate and dedicated interns to join our dynamic team for Summer 2024 (June through August). This paid internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, expand your knowledge, and contribute to meaningful projects that address critical challenges in global health and international development.

Core job responsibilities

  • Research & Analysis: Conduct research on global health issues, policy frameworks, and best practices to support ongoing projects and initiatives.

  • Project Support: Assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of development projects, including monitoring progress, analyzing data, and preparing reports.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, partners, and stakeholders to facilitate knowledge sharing, coordination, and synergy in project activities.

  • Communication: Support communication efforts through content creation, social media management, and dissemination of information to raise awareness and mobilize support for global health initiatives.

  • Administrative Tasks: Assist in administrative duties, including organizing meetings, maintaining databases, and coordinating logistics for events, workshops, and conferences

  • Other duties as assigned

    Required skills/experience

  • Currently enrolled in or recent graduate from a relevant undergraduate or graduate program (e.g., Public Health, International Development, Global Studies, Nursing/Medical, Social Sciences, etc.).

  • Strong interest in global health, international development, and humanitarian affairs.

  • Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Suite.
