Mr Messenger Inc CSR/dispatcher position in Warwick, Rhode Island

CSR/Dispatch Position

The CSR will work in the dispatch office and will directly report to the operations manager.

  • Providing support:Customer service representatives (CSRs) are the first point of contact for customers with questions or issues.They provide information and support to customers by answering questions, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • CSRs handle customer inquiries through phone, email, and text. Employees are expected to use their own mobile phone on occasion for transmission of texts or pictures.
  • Processing orders:CSRs may take orders, and check shipping statuses, secure instructions for freight movement.
  • The position will require constant coordination and relay of information with drivers and customers.
  • Data Entry:CSRs keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions, such as entry of the order, and calculating charges.
  • Collaborating with others:CSRs may work with other team members and departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Following company policies:CSRs follow company policies and procedures when handling customer requests.
  • CSRs must have good communication skills, including listening skills, patience, and empathy.CSRs must multitask and adapt to changes in customer requirements. An outgoing friendly demeanor is absolutely required.
  • CSRs will be expected to occasionally work in the warehouse to assist the warehouse manager. This may include loading/offloading trucks, operation of a pallet jack/fork lift, and palletization of goods.

Shift/hours *Monday - Friday 8am - 5:30pm (part-time may be available) schedule may be negotiable.

**Salary *$20/hr, maximum hours 40 (part-time may be available) wages may be negotiable based on experience.

Experience *This is an entry level position, experience not necessary, will train the right candidate.

Education and certifications *No Formal education required, but CSR will be expected soon after hiring to achieve satisfactory test results on safe operation of a forklift, and security training for air cargo, and other safety training as needed. A valid drivers license and good driving record is required for the occasional use of company vehicles.
