The Opportunity

For our Abbott Electrophysiology Division (EP) we are currently looking for a well-skilled person to join our clinical team in Poland as a Field Clinical Engineer. This is a fully field-based role, requiring daily traveling across assigned territory (śląskie, świętokrzyskie, łódzkie area).

As a Field Clinical Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expert support and advise on the use of the Abbott portfolio, promotion of Abbott Product lines through professional and technical support to both medical and sales personnel.

This position is additionally responsible for ensuring that all questions of a technical nature from the field or internal sources are answered in an expeditious manner and reported to the competent authorities within Abbott.

This position’s primary function is to attend implants, follow-ups and support any issues related to high voltage and low voltage stimulation devices.

What You'll do:

  • Providing expert clinical consultation, teaching and support on the use of all EP products and their appropriate application in the clinical setting.

  • Maintain up to date technical knowledge of current and new therapies and technologies within the therapy area, including competitor devices, as well as a general understanding of the dynamics of the country healthcare market.

  • Providing technical support to the EP salesforce.

  • Conduct product presentations and perform stand duty at exhibitions when requested, responding to technical questions that might be raised by EMEA or customers.

Required qualifications and background:

  • Individuals will ideally have an university degree in a science related field.

  • Ideally electrophysiology/cardiac rhythm management or equivalent clinical experience.

  • Cardiac anatomy and physiology knowledge would be considered as a strong asset.

  • Very good command of English and Polish (both written and spoken).

  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and customer-focus.

  • Willingness to travel 75% of the time and ability to work autonomously.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Driving license B.
