Summary About the Position: The Systems Analyst is responsible for maintaining the system administration, technical and operational guidance for systems and tools to support current and future work of functional business processes and maintain data collection. Provides technical system support in Enterprise Resource Planning system and supporting applications to ensure the full capacity of supply chain functions. Analyzes operational and statistical data/reports to determine functional trends, conformance to standards, efficiency of operations, and effect on future resources. Develops and tests system solutions to fill business needs in collaboration with functional users. Provides support to supply chain functional roles. Presents recommendations to leadership through reports and briefings. Participates in designing, developing, testing, and implementing interfaces between business systems and other applicable information management systems. Specialized Experience: Your resume must reflect one year of specialized experience to include: (1) Analyzing data and reports to determine functional trends; (2) Maintaining system applications to ensure efficient operation of supply chain functions; and (3) Investigating trends in performance to identify the root cause of patterned issues. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Information Management Planning and Evaluating Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11). Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
