Experis, a division of ManpowerGroup, is working with a automotive manufacturing organization . Looking for a Production Supervisor to work in their facility, in Warren, MI. This is a 12-Month Contract with possibility of extension and/or hire on perm.

Job Title: Production Supervisor

Contract: 12-Month Contract, intention to extend/hire on perm.

Location: Warren, MI

Pay: Hourly Rate Ranging on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Shift, plus benefits

Typical Schedule: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Shifts, 10-HR Shifts, various days (24/7 Manufacturing Facility) *around 20-Hrs of OT per week, paid at time & a half

The main function of a Production Supervisor is to supervise and coordinate the activities of the automotive manufacturing production and operating workers within a union environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading start shift meetings and coordinating with previous shift, reviewing operations and conferring with technical/administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems that arise.

• Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production quality control, and maintenance to detect production problems.

• Hiring, training, evaluating, and discharging staff, and resolving personal grievances.

• Preparing and maintaining production reports, personnel records, and overseeing payroll accuracy, timekeeping assurance, and employee schedules in accordance with production.

Requirements:

• H.S. Diploma/GED Required, Associate's degree preferred.

• 8-10 years of experience required

• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, cost efficiency, machines/tools, managing employees in a union environment, technical, coachable, general mechanical knowledge, general pc knowledge.
