Description

Serves as part of the Finance Team and is responsible for working with the field operations on budgeting and forecasting across the company. The ideal candidate will be a hands on, fast learner and possess the ability to work in a fast pace environment. This position will assist the field operations teams in maximizing their profitability by utilizing the tools in place. The role will also serve as an additional backup support for PowerBI reporting.

Job Responsibilities: Financial Analyst

• Primary financial areas of responsibility: Budgeting, Fuel, Fixed Assets, Others

• Partner with leadership to develop and monitor margin improvement strategies

• Conduct special studies to analyze complex financial actions and prepare recommendations for policy, procedure, control, or action

• Analyze financial information to determine present and future financial performance

• Direct preparation of studies, reports, analyses, and recommendations in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, statistical reports, pricing models and business forecasts

• Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts

• Ad-hoc analysis and reporting

• Special projects

  Requirements

Job Requirements: Financial Analyst

• Undergraduate degree from a college or university.

• Basic understanding of US GAAP and accounting policies

• Budgeting/Forecasting experience

• Strong computer and financial modeling skills, especially in Excel

• Experience with or desire to learn the following technologies

• Excel

• Power BI/Power Pivot

• MS Access

• SQL

• Microsoft Teams

• Great Plains

• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate ideas/findings effectively

• Strong data analytics skills
