In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing data automation processes as well as conducting data analysis to provide valuable insights to our department leads. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable data automation solutions that ensure data accuracy and integrity. Additionally, you will leverage advanced analytics techniques to analyze large datasets and identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle for the automation of financial, business and KPI data / reporting including data preparation and consolidation, implementation of automation / AI tools, and ongoing automated reporting to drive insights.

  • Implement required business processes and workflows to most effectively automate and streamline the consolidation and analysis of data for financial, KPI, management and Board reporting.

  • Own the implementation of Tableau and other automation/ AI tools and drive best practice alignment for data analysis and workflow automation across the Finance team and in collaboration with Department leads.

  • Automate the monthly preparation of the company’s financial statements.

  • Build and maintain dynamic parameter driven financial KPI dashboards in Tableau

  • Establish partnership with department heads in order to visualize data based on department specifications, business goals, and KPIs, enabling faster insights, recommendations, and tailor reporting to meet ongoing commercial needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in data management, data automation, or data analytics roles

  • Strong SQL skills and experience with database management

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI

  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment

  • Experience in the education industry or with school information systems is a plus

Salary at Veracross is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. The compensation range for this position is 120k to 140k (annualized USD) in addition to potential bonus.
