Description

We are searching for a Senior Finance & Accounting Operations Manager to join our team in Waco, Texas. The selected candidate will have a crucial role in overseeing the Finance & Accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing key financial insights to support decision making.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards, bank loan covenants and legal requirements

• Produce the firm’s annual budget and perform monthly variance analyses against actual spending

• Manage processes and technology projects to improve finance & accounting

• Provide financial modeling, analysis, and valuation support for scheduled and ad-hoc projects

• Perform regular predictive financial modeling of profit and loss

• Interpret financial results into insights and recommendations for executives

• Identify and implement reporting of key financial metrics that enable meaningful insights and improve the visibility to company’s financial results

  Requirements • Must have a minimum of 7 years experience in a similar role

• Proficient in Accounting Functions

• Experience with Aderant software is a must

• Should have experience in Legal Services

• Prior experience in a Law Office or Law Practice is required

• Proficient in Full Cycle Accounting

• Must be able to prepare and analyze Monthly Financials

• Experience in Variance Analysis

• Proficiency in Financial Modeling

• Experience in Forecasting & Modeling

• Should be able to manage Profit and loss

• Must have experience in Financial Reporting

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required

• Must have strong communication and leadership skills

• The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is essential

• Must have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Should be a team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
