Our Technical Services jConnect team is excited to offer an opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer. The ideal candidate will bring extensive network support experience and a keen eye for identifying opportunities to enhance processes and procedures. This high-paced role involves significant interaction with both customers and internal business units to ensure success. The position focuses on managing end-of-life projects and all infrastructure related to the jConnect router, with a particular emphasis on data centers and overall infrastructure management.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Technology refresh and standarization of jConnect devices.

  • Provide phone support to employees or customers relative to networking technology.

  • Analyze network topologies to determine potential issues and makes suggestions for recommended changes.

  • Correspond with customer and other divisions within the company to insure all customer concerns and issues are resolved in a timely manner.

  • Prepare statements of work relative to upcoming network installations and general preparations for installations.

  • Respond to and remedy any audit findings associated with jConnect.

  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

    What you'll need to have:

  • A minimum of 9 years of experience in network engineering.

  • Strong knowledge of BGP (Border Gateway Protocol).

  • Strong Knowledge of VPN.

  • Current CCNA certification.

  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.

  • Ability to travel up to 10% to attend JHA meetings, trainings, and/or professional conferences.

    What would be nice for you to have:

  • CCNP certificate.

  • Experience in virtual cloud environment.
