FleishmanHillard is a global integrated communications agency delivering transformational outcomes for some of the world’s biggest brands. This is an exciting career opportunity for an Integrated Communications specialist to work in a fast-paced B2B2C environment on local, regional, national and global food, nutrition and agriculture clients. The Senior Account Executive plays a pivotal role in managing and executing integrated marketing campaigns. Excellent writing and media relations skills including a strong aptitude with social media are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day logistics for the account team by driving and implementing integrated marketing strategies for a variety of clients in the food and agriculture spaces.

  • Develop and edit high-quality written materials for and correspondence with external audiences: third-party organizations, industry and nutrition influencers, media, client partners.

  • Support development and implementation of project plans, tactics and ideas that can be presented to the clients to support their products and initiatives.

  • Plan, develop and publish editorial calendars using social media software tools. Prepare results reports for social media campaigns.

  • Plan and execute trade and customer events, including on-site activities, customer meetings, and activities and key opinion leader networking.

  • Plan and conduct media outreach — development of media lists, writing, pitches, and tracking results.

  • Develop and monitor programs to ensure on-time, high-quality client deliverables, report status to client and agency management on a regular basis.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience gained in public relations, journalism, marketing or a similar field.

  • Degree in agriculture, food/nutrition/dietetics, strategic communications, journalism, public relations, marketing or related field.

  • A food, nutrition or agricultural background and understanding of agribusiness and food practices and issues is preferred.

  • Versatile, persuasive writing skills and experience developing high-quality written materials, including communications plans, client correspondence, and media communications.

  • Demonstrated experience in executing results-oriented integrated marketing programs and providing high-quality service to demanding clients.

  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to interact with clients on a day-to-day basis.

  • Enjoys brainstorming and strategic planning.

  • Works effectively within a team, demonstrates proactive communication, problem-solving skills.

  • Adaptable; has the ability to change priorities against changing client and team needs.

The anticipated U.S. salary range for this position is $58,000 – $82,000.

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications and geography. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off and/or other benefits also are available.
