Naviga Inc. Lead Engineer (UX Designer) in United States

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced UX Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating intuitive and engaging user experiences across our suite of software products. As a UX Designer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and iterate user interfaces that align with our product vision and user needs

Responsibilities:

· To lead the end-to-end design process, from concept to delivery, for new features and enhancements

· To conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gain insights into user behaviors, needs, and pain points.

· To translate user research findings into actionable design solutions, including wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups

· To create high-fidelity UI designs that prioritize usability, accessibility, and aesthetic appeal.

· To collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between design and product requirements.

· To iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders, usability testing, and data analysis.

· To stay current with industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design, and advocate for their integration into our design processes.

Education, Experience, and Requirements

· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in design, HCI, or a related field

· 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design for software products, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and outcomes

· Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar

· Experience in conducting user research and usability testing, and a deep understanding of user-cantered design principles

· Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions to stakeholders

· Experience working in an Agile development environment is preferred

· Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
