Cogent Infotech Hybrid role Coordinator in United States

Job Title: Full-time role Logistics Coordinator Duration: Hybrid, Direct hire Job Description:

As a Logistics Coordinator, you are responsible for shipping house packages for plant operations.  Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare daily reports and delivery paperwork for use by the production floor and haulers.

  • Generate and maintain reports to measure service levels, delivery costs, etc.

  • Communicate with NVR field personnel and hauling vendors to ensure on-time and complete deliveries.

  • Work closely with the plant’s Production, Customer Service, Materials departments, and Scheduling department to ensure operational and delivery targets are being met.

  • Assisting in coordinating reverse logistics and last-mile delivery services. 

  • Review and ensure appropriate billing from haulers and submit for processing.

  • Assist with other administrative tasks and cross-train within the department and others, as needed.

    Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred

  • 2+ years of administrative experience

  • Strong communicator, both verbally and written, with the ability to develop relationships with customers.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills

  • Results driven with the ability to balance multiple priorities and changing demands.

  • Willingness to learn and take initiative.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
