Job Title: Full-time role Logistics Coordinator Duration: Hybrid, Direct hire Job Description:
As a Logistics Coordinator, you areâ¯responsible for shipping house packages for plant operations.⯠Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Prepare daily reports and delivery paperwork for use by the production floor and haulers.
Generate and maintain reports to measure service levels, delivery costs, etc.
Communicate with NVR field personnel and hauling vendors to ensure on-time and complete deliveries.
Work closely with the plant’s Production, Customer Service, Materialsâ¯departments, and Scheduling departmentâ¯to ensure operational and delivery targets are being met.
Assisting in coordinating reverse logistics and last-mile delivery services.â¯
Review and ensure appropriate billing from haulers and submit for processing.
Assist with other administrative tasks and cross-train within the department and others, as needed.
Position Qualifications
Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred
2+ years of administrative experience
Strong communicator, both verbally and written, with the ability to develop relationships with customers.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent time-management and organizational skills
Results driven with the ability to balance multiple priorities and changing demands.
Willingness to learn and take initiative.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
