Salary: $90,000 -$110,000 DOE + 5% Bonus Potential
Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday

The Human Resource’s Team Purpose is, “to drive organizational success through every interaction.” The Human Resources Manager contributes to this by overseeing Thrive’s administrative Human Resources functions such as employee relations, leave administration, payroll processing, workplace safety, benefits administration, compliance with federal and local laws, and more!
Human Resources Manager Job Responsibilities:
Lead, develop, and oversee HR Administrative team members who manage areas such as Onboarding and Offboarding, Employee Housing Administration, HRIS Administration, Personnel Record upkeep, and more
Build and maintain meaningful relationships with managers and associates
Oversee accuracy and timeliness of bi-weekly payroll processing and applicable payroll laws
Oversee employee relations including employee counseling, performance management, and involuntary termination requests
Conduct investigations and work with legal counsel, as needed, to propose next steps
Maintain knowledge of unemployment claims, decisions, hearings, and appeals
Maintain compliance with protected leaves, worker’s compensation claims, and reasonable accommodation requests
Process yearly tax reports such as W-2s and 1095-C’s
Oversee benefits administration including new associate enrollment, annual open enrollment, qualifying life events, invoice reconciliation, PPACA Compliance, etc.
Manage retirement plan administration
Recommend edits to and distribute bi-annual Associate Handbook revisions
Conduct mandated reporting such as EEOC, WA L&I, BLS, etc.
Participate in the Safety Committee, host required monthly meetings, and assist with annual updates to the Safety Manual + Accident Prevention Program
Ensure timely and accurate responses to HR requests
Strategically analyze processes and policies to make improvement recommendations
Stay current on federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Identifying any legal risk(s) to the company an ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws, regulations, and ordinances
Other duties as assigned by HR Director and/or VP of People
Desired Skills & Experience:
3-5 years HR experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or related field
HR Certificate such as SHRM-CP or PHR
Property Management industry knowledge and experience
Prior experience with supervising others
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
