Data Scientist Ld Location: Reston, VA/Remote Duration: 12 Months with possible extension Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Key Requirement: Experience building data pipeline for Client and AI models, Experience optimizing Client/AI Model Code and deployments Experience with Cloud Platforms, specifically AWS ecosystem, Data Engineering & Data Science Tools Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Education Details: Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field Experience: 8 years of relevant work experience. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) Ability to communicate effectively and document objectives and procedures., Expert Ability to leverage a wide variety of data science tools and frameworks., Expert Ability to support data exploration and data analysis tasks in support of analytics objectives., Expert Knowledge in model evaluation, tuning and performance, operationalization, and scalability of scientific techniques., Expert Proficiency in statistical modeling applications., Expert Proficiency in advanced SQL in multiple syntaxes., Expert Call Notes: Manager Notes: Looking for a senior data scientist who has strong experience in data science and machine learning. Experience building and working with Client models. Experience in the AI space is good to have. Strong preference for someone with AWS, and SageMaker. Python and advanced SQL are a must. Experience in the deployment of models is nice to have. Knowledge of AWS services is nice to have.
