Are you passionate about retail and data? Clarks is seeking a talented individual to fill the role of Central Merchandise Admin Assistant and become an integral part of our dynamic team.
The role
As a pivotal member of our team, you'll assume the responsibility of providing comprehensive administrative support to both our Merchandise Planning and Merchant Teams. Your role will encompass ensuring the timely and high-standard completion of in-season and seasonal activities, including executing various trading actions such as implementing price changes, markdowns, and updates to in-season assortment plans.
Moreover, your contribution will be essential in implementing planning actions, which involve optimising merchandise strategies through adjustments to time phasing and sizing. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in preparing essential information and data for regular business performance reviews, spanning from weekly to ad hoc basis, to ensure operational efficiency.
About you
In this dynamic role, you'll play a vital part in supporting sales, margin, and inventory management, which are fundamental to the overall success of our merchandise strategies. Operating independently and without direct reports, you'll focus on delivering high-quality administrative support to ensure smooth operations. Although categorised as having a Low to Medium impact on the business, your contributions are indispensable for the Merchandise Planning and Merchant teams to efficiently achieve their objectives.
Your responsibilities will include providing general administration support, executing trading actions, and implementing planning actions to optimise operations. Key performance indicators include delivering on-time, high-quality output and efficiently executing tasks to contribute to the smooth functioning of merchandise operations.
