Triple Cities Metal Finishing is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be a vital part of our maintenance team, ensuring the smooth operation of our facility through various maintenance tasks. Our three shifts of skilled professionals in our 125,000 square foot facility have made us the vendor of choice for metal finishing for Northeastern United States. Whether it is electroplating, electroless plating, wet paint, or powder coat, we finish it right the first time!
Position Overview
Electrical Maintenance: Perform all minor & major electrical maintenance tasks using appropriate tools. Work with systems ranging from 110v single-phase to 480-volt 3-phase.
Plumbing Maintenance: Conduct minor & major plumbing repairs such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, trenching, and replacing hoses.
Water Treatment:
Observe any unusual conditions in the water and make necessary adjustments to treatment.
Perform various routine chemical tests.
Control the amount of chemicals being added to the water.
Collect plant samples, as needed.
Monitor tank levels.
Maintain accurate records and logs.
Perform preventative maintenance duties.
Maintain and calibrate various electronic and mechanical equipment
Monitor all operational issues and report any malfunctions
Adjust chemical additions to treat water to remain within specifications
Industrial Machinery: Repair, install, and adjust industrial machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair defective equipment promptly and efficiently.
Work Orders: Swiftly respond to work order requests, ensuring minimal downtime.
General Maintenance: Perform a variety of maintenance tasks to support the overall function and safety of our facility.
Qualifications :
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements: Ability to push up to 75 pounds, bend, kneel, and climb as needed.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of electrical systems and plumbing.
Water treatment background is preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
Experience with PVC, CPVC, and black steel pipe is preferred.
Shift:
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm
Total Compensation Package:
Wage
$17.50/hour
Compensation depends on the selected candidate's experience.
Shift differential for 2nd
